Blurb
Hermit, introvert, homebody.
All are adjectives that can be used to describe me, and that’s how I like it. I’m content within the four walls of my home, safe from all the work one has to put in just to walk outside.
But solitary life also means the only real romance I get to experience is from my holiday movie marathons and watching my old high school crush play for the NHL. My extroverted twin sister, however, doesn’t like my plans and sets me up on a date.
A blind date.
On Valentine’s Day.
At a five-star resort.
She somehow gets me to agree despite my very real aversion to being in public places. Only, when I arrive, I couldn’t care less about anyone else in the room because the very man I cheer for through my tv is sitting across from me. Not only that, he’s challenging everything I thought I knew with one simple question:
Truth or Dare?

Overall Rating
5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was short but oh so spicy! This was the first book that I read from Lee and it will definitely not be my last. I picked up this book as a seasonal read for Valentine’s Day last month and I fully believe that this could be read at any point of the year. Eli Brooks said all the right things! And I could easily say he is prime book boyfriend material.
Cupid’s Peak has a dual timeline to give this second chance romance more context as we see Eli and Mia on their blind date in the present day. A freak blizzard isn’t close enough to keep these two apart. I liked how Eli cared for Mia and how considerate he is of her introverted tendencies. He knew her so well and prepared accordingly! We love a man with a plan! Mia made some progress to meet Eli halfway and I loved her coming out of her shell. I laughed several times at how Eleni, Mia’s sister, was her smut coach! Team spontaneous O!
I really enjoyed this novella and recommend you give it a read! Does this mean I’m firmly in my Hockey era?
