Irresistible is about Marlow and her daughter, Dakota, who move to Landmark Mountain after Marlow catches her ex-husband cheating on her with a coworker. I really loved Marlow’s strength and loved how she cared for and protected her daughter. There was so many things that could’ve broke Marlow. Her resolve in trying to find the best course of action for her new life and also what would be best for her daughter made me love her so much. She was an amazing friend but also amazing mother. I loved to see her work through the tough emotions that come with divorce, especially one that was this messy.

Sexy Dr. Wyatt Landmark had me in a chokehold with how considerate and adorably sweet he was with Dakota, but also how respectful and resilient he was in regards to Marlow, as well. I just love to see men who are good father figures! That is going to be my kryptonite forever.. and Wyatt 100% fits the bill for being a good father figure and also partner. He tries to keep his distance by being respectful of Marlow’s previous relationship but there is so much to love about her and her daughter, he can’t stay away! I loved it when she finally let him into their life! It was perfection! This book was sweet, as I’ve mentioned, but it was also pretty spicy once we finally got to it. This is a slow burn romance, and it is sooooo worth the burn! I think this might be one of the spiciest of the series so far. And I’m not mad about it! Dr. McGorg gets gold stars from me lol

I love Landmark Mountain and the Landmark family, so it was just such a treat to come back and visit them. I was so happy to see what they were up to especially the wedding and all of the wedding events leading up to Sofie and Theo’s nuptials. Grinny is such a hoot, and I love her antics and how she is really the matchmaker of the family. Plus, the siblings teasing these two MCs as they try to figure out what’s going on with each other was a lot of fun. Sofie is such a great friend! I love being able to see her again and be such a supportive figure for Marlow, since Marlow’s family wasn’t the best.

I would definitely recommend this series to small town romance lovers, and those who are a fan of single mom romances because this one was so good! Irresistible can be read as a complete standalone, but I would recommend that you check out the rest of the series because it’s one of my fave small-town romances.
