A single mom who’s sworn off men…
And a sexy doctor who wants to change her mind.
With my little girl in tow, I pack up my Texas roots, seeking a fresh start in Landmark Mountain. Leaving behind a trail of shattered trust and a cheating ex, the last thing I expect is to collide with a sexy stranger.
Our first encounter is a whirlwind of heated words and fiery glares. But fate’s twisted sense of humor places him right in my path, not once, but many times over and over again.
Why does Dr. Wyatt Landmark have to be related to my best friend’s boyfriend?
But Landmark has a way of softening my heart, both the man and the town. This place already feels like home, and Wyatt’s interactions with my daughter reveal a side of him I hadn’t expected.
It isn’t long before his small acts of kindness begin to chip away at the walls I’ve so carefully constructed around my heart. That, and the passion between us I can’t deny whenever he looks my way.
Despite swearing off love, the resolve I’ve had is stripping away as Wyatt becomes more irresistible by the day.
Here is the potentially sensitive content that I observed while reading this book:
- Cheating (not main characters)
- Sexually Explicit Scenes

Irresistible is about Marlow and her daughter, Dakota, who move to Landmark Mountain after Marlow catches her ex-husband cheating on her with a coworker. I really loved Marlow’s strength and loved how she cared for and protected her daughter. There was so many things that could’ve broke Marlow. Her resolve in trying to find the best course of action for her new life and also what would be best for her daughter made me love her so much. She was an amazing friend but also amazing mother. I loved to see her work through the tough emotions that come with divorce, especially one that was this messy.
Sexy Dr. Wyatt Landmark had me in a chokehold with how considerate and adorably sweet he was with Dakota, but also how respectful and resilient he was in regards to Marlow, as well. I just love to see men who are good father figures! That is going to be my kryptonite forever.. and Wyatt 100% fits the bill for being a good father figure and also partner. He tries to keep his distance by being respectful of Marlow’s previous relationship but there is so much to love about her and her daughter, he can’t stay away! I loved it when she finally let him into their life! It was perfection! This book was sweet, as I’ve mentioned, but it was also pretty spicy once we finally got to it. This is a slow burn romance, and it is sooooo worth the burn! I think this might be one of the spiciest of the series so far. And I’m not mad about it! Dr. McGorg gets gold stars from me lol
I love Landmark Mountain and the Landmark family, so it was just such a treat to come back and visit them. I was so happy to see what they were up to especially the wedding and all of the wedding events leading up to Sofie and Theo’s nuptials. Grinny is such a hoot, and I love her antics and how she is really the matchmaker of the family. Plus, the siblings teasing these two MCs as they try to figure out what’s going on with each other was a lot of fun. Sofie is such a great friend! I love being able to see her again and be such a supportive figure for Marlow, since Marlow’s family wasn’t the best.
I would definitely recommend this series to small town romance lovers, and those who are a fan of single mom romances because this one was so good! Irresistible can be read as a complete standalone, but I would recommend that you check out the rest of the series because it’s one of my fave small-town romances. Thank you to Valentine PR and the author for an advance copy of this book for review. 🏽

“Make no mistake, Marlow. I want you… and I don’t care who knows it.”
“What a waste of a beautiful man.”
“”Yes, I do. You keep seeing me at my worst.” I want to argue with her. If this is her at her worst, my heart stands no chance of surviving her best.”
“My mouth opens to…I don’t even know what—thank him? Whimper? Beg him to have mercy on me and stop looking like Dr. McSex?”
“You distracted my thoughts all day… In the best way.”
“I’m Wyatt Henry Landmark, and I’m whipped over you, Marlow Walker.”
“I want to worship every inch of your body and make you lose all inhibitions, see how many ways I can get you to come…but I’m also happy to dance all fucking night right here with you.”
“I’d never treat Dakota differently. I swear to you that will never happen. I love the relationship I’m building with your little girl and as long as you’ll allow me to be, I’m in her life to stay.”
“I want you to know two things before we see each other today. One: I’m going to be the same as I always am around you. And two: I’m not giving up on us.”
“I should be sorry, but I have to say, my mark looks really good on you.”
“Some people will never experience what we shared last night… I certainly haven’t ever experienced anything close to that before… I have no doubt we would work, Marlow. And I personally think it would be worth all the risk.”
“You told me you loved me tonight,” he says softly. “And that you’re having my baby,” he croons in my ear. “The urge to be all over you is strong.”
“I do. Before tonight, I had only dreamed about this kind of life with you and Dakota, and to be clear, the two of you are all I ever need. But you’ve expanded the vision with this baby news. You’ve given me so much more to be excited about… I love you, Marlow.”
