Sparks fly when a romance novelist and a documentary filmmaker join forces to craft the perfect Hollywood love story and take both of their careers to the next levelābut only if they can keep the chemistry between them from taking the whole thing off scriptāfrom the New York Times bestselling authors of The Soulmate Equation and The Unhoneymooners.
Felicity āFizzyā Chen is lost. Sure, sheās got an incredible career as a beloved romance novelist with a slew of bestsellers under her belt, but when sheās asked to give a commencement address, it hits her: she hasnāt been practicing what sheās preached.
Fizzy hasnāt ever really been in love. Lust? Definitely. But that swoon-worthy, canāt-stop-thinking-about-him, all-encompassing feeling? Nope. Nothing. What happens when the optimism sheās spent her career encouraging in readers starts to feel like a lie?
Connor Prince, documentary filmmaker and single father, loves his work in large part because it allows him to live near his daughter. But when his profit-minded boss orders him to create a reality TV show, putting his job on the line, Connor is out of his element. Desperate to find his romantic lead, a chance run-in with an exasperated Fizzy offers Connor the perfect solution. What if he could show the queen of romance herself falling head-over-heels for all the world to see? Fizzy gives him a hard passāunless he agrees to her list of demands. When he says yes, and production on The True Love Experiment begins, Connor wonders if that perfect match will ever be in the cue cards for him, too.
The True Love Experiment is the book fans have been waiting for ever since Fizzyās debut in the New York Times bestselling The Soulmate Equation. But when the lights come on and all eyes are on her, it turns out the happily ever after Fizzy had all but given up on might lie just behind the camera.

Hermit, introvert, homebody.
All are adjectives that can be used to describe me, and thatās how I like it. Iām content within the four walls of my home, safe from all the work one has to put in just to walk outside.
But solitary life also means the only real romance I get to experience is from my holiday movie marathons and watching my old high school crush play for the NHL. My extroverted twin sister, however, doesnāt like my plans and sets me up on a date.
A blind date.
On Valentine’s Day.
At a five-star resort.
She somehow gets me to agree despite my very real aversion to being in public places. Only, when I arrive, I couldnāt care less about anyone else in the room because the very man I cheer for through my tv is sitting across from me. Not only that, he’s challenging everything I thought I knew with one simple question:
Truth or Dare?

Hank Weller doesnāt help people. He leaves that do-gooder nonsense to his best friend, Beau Winston. Hank does what he wants, when he wants, with whomever he wantsāand Hank does not want to hire Charlotte Mitchell to be an exotic dancer at his club, The Pink Pony. Sure, he canāt help noticing the dips and curves of her, how shrewd, smart, and funny she is, the fire in her hazel eyes. Heās always noticed. Sheād probably draw a crowd and entice the regulars. But after Charlotteās messy, public divorce made Hankās club out to be the culpritāand made her the single mother of four kidsāhe doesnāt need or want any additional bad press courtesy of Charlotte Mitchell. Or the distraction. Unfortunately for him, the townās prettiest charity case doesnāt seem to understand the meaning of the words nope, no, and never.
Charlotte Mitchell doesnāt much like Hank Weller. Once upon a time, she used to. Years ago, she liked him a whole heckofalot despite other folks in town labeling him as āeccentricā and ānonconformist,ā which were polite southern alternatives to āfilthy richā and āself-centered douchebag.ā Her opinion of him changed dramatically after he volunteered to be her date to junior prom and then promptly stood her up. They havenāt so much as acknowledged each other in over a decade. But a sudden family emergency means Charlotte needs access to Hankās club ASAP. Unfortunately for her, the narcissistic fancy-pants doesnāt seem to understand the meaning of the words help, generosity, and compassion.
But heās about to find himself schooled. Charlotte is going to teach Hank a lesson once and for all about basic human decency, whether he likes it or not.
Spoiler alert. . . he likes it.
