Zaji holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Anthropology from Texas State University at San Marcos. Since her studies, Zaji has found happiness in creating (and sharing) her handmade wardrobe that fits well and rebells against fast fashion sentiments on the disposability of garments! Her creativity and color use creates an interesting style that is nostalgic yet modern.

Zaji has taught herself to sew, knit, crochet and embroider with the help of books and videos online. She has been sewing since 2017. She has been knitting since 2018. She learned to crochet and embroider in 2021.

Sunshine Creations by Zaji-Kali is her sustainable children’s clothing line which focuses on natural fibers and adorable prints! This line is produced by her and features her favorite designs from independent designers.

The SunShine Collective Label is her sustainable women’s clothing line, which focuses on elegant styles that are comfortable for everyday wear. This line is designed by her and produced in the USA.
