Love Redesigned follows childhood family friends who become successful individuals in their adult lives. Julian is our app developer billionaire and Dahlia is an interior designer who has a reality TV show where she renovates houses with her fiance. After her fiance breaks the engagement, Dahlia returns to Lake Wisteria to heal her broken heart. She struggles with depression and the emotional abuse she suffered from her ex-fiance and his family throughout the beginning of the book but once she is surrounded by loved ones and given a new project to work on, things take a positive turn for her. Julian and Dahlia work on restoring this old home while reminiscing and playing pranks on each other and things do get very spicy! I loved their banter with the back and forth! They were more like childhood rivals always competing against each other until they go their separate ways after something unfortunate occurs in their freshman year. The forced proximity aspects of their situation is multifaceted as their mothers are best friends and are always up to something when it comes to these two, they are working on this house together and subsequently are a part of the town’s large festival that takes place as well. This feels a little like second chance romance but it’s more like the one that got away. Big swoon from me!
The one-bed situation in Love Redesigned will be on my mind for a VERY long time to come! I absolutely loved this story and Julian?! He deserves all the gold stars! 🔥🔥 Like he was *chef’s kiss* a grumpy billionaire with a soft spot and a dirtyyyyy mouth! Ugh! I swooned and laughed and am currently still obsessing about him! 🫶🏽 Julian is my new favorite!! I can’t resist his quiet affection and sweet gifts. It makes me absolutely feral! Dahlia’s journey is so beautiful with healing and regaining her confidence 🥹💜. I loved the banter just as much as the dirty talk from Luis Julian Lopez Junior!! 🥵🥰
That epilogue though! Lauren just wanted my tears and I’m giving them to her! Here you go Lauren 😭🥹 I was a mess by the end of this book. I highly recommend this story and I cannot wait for Julian’s brother, Rafa, in the next book. Thank you so much to the author and Valentine PR for an advanced copy of this book for review.
